Working sequence
How a visit becomes a plan you can plant from
This is the path from the first note to the first summer. The same sequence is used for a household courtyard and for a small guesthouse arrival. What changes is the brief, not the order.
-
1. You write
Send the town, the approximate size, what you want (fruit, shade, herbs, an arrival, or a mix), and who will water. Photos of the gate and the four corners help the quote. They are not a substitute for the visit. Use the form or [email protected].
-
2. You get a fit decision
Daniil Bragarciuc replies on working days, usually within two. Some replies are a no: the job is building work, the plot is too far for a useful visit, or the month is already full. A no is free and it says why. A yes comes with one written quote.
-
3. You accept in writing
Reply to the quote if you want the visit. The quote names the fee in Moldovan lei, the address, the number of visits, and the date the notes will be sent. The studio does not book a visit on a handshake, and you do not pay before the quote exists. Details of the three engagements are on the offer page.
-
4. The visit
About ninety minutes for a reading. The gate, the daily path, the windows, the downpipes, and two spade tests. Please have someone present who can open the gate and, if you know it, say where drains and cables run. A dog should be shut away. If the gate is locked and nobody is there, the visit cannot happen.
-
5. The draft
A reading is emailed within ten days. A planting plan for a standard courtyard follows within fifteen days of the visit. You read it against the real yard, not against a photograph of a garden in another country.
-
6. One revision
When a plan is part of the quote, you get one round of comments. A second round, or a new brief, is a new quote. This keeps the drawing from drifting into a different project.
-
7. You plant, or your gardener does
The studio does not arrive with a van of plants. You buy them, or you hire someone local to buy and plant them, using the schedule. Autumn is the better window for trees. The plot notes explain why.
-
8. A summer check, if you booked one
One visit in June or July, about an hour, then a short note: stakes, water, and anything that should be replaced or left alone. Weekly care stays with you.
What to have ready
- Access, and a person who can make decisions about what stays.
- Any knowledge of buried drains, covers, and cables.
- A clear idea of who waters, even if the answer is "only at weekends".
What the studio brings
- A tape, a spade for two small tests, and a notebook.
- The later drawing and the written notes.
- A straight answer if a tree is dangerous or a bed is in the wrong place.
A tree leaning over a roof needs an arborist, not a planting plan drawn around it. The studio will say that rather than ignore it.
